January 24, 1950 Indian National Anthem “Jana Gana Mana“, headed by Dr. Rajendra Prasad was adopted by the Constituent Assembly. National anthem originally composed in Bengali by Rabindranath Tagore, Nobel laureate, and its Hindi version was accepted as the national anthem of India. On December 27, 1911, the song was sung at the first session of the Indian National Congress in Calcutta. The entire song has five stanzas.
